Project description

Currently the road is a 7 to 8m wide pavement with a 4m wide sealed pavement and is too narrow to cater for the many heavy vehicles carting to the main storage bins, resulting in unsafe conditions for the vehicles travelling both directions .

Widening of the existing shoulders to bring the pavement width to 10m, import new gravel to build the shoulders, reform the open drain to ensure flow of water away from the road. Stabilisation work near the low laying areas to strengthen the pavement were salt is present in the ground.
