Project description

The existing road is in poor condition with regular failures: cracks and potholes form regularly. Surface water drainage is poor with areas of pooled water evident throughout the intersection and sections of the roads leading in to the intersection. Kerbing is old and failing with many sections broken or missing. Kerb ramps are not constructed to standard.

Remove existing kerbing, kerb ramps and drain grates. Install new side entry pits and channel drains to ensure surface water can run off the road surface. Form new kerb ramps and adjoining footpaths, place corrector asphalt where required then place a 30mm asphalt seal over the area. Place new kerbing including new driveway crossovers to match changed levels.

Total cost of proposed project is $97,541
