Project description

When the road has had 15 mililitres of rain it is unable to be used due to the road being mostly black soil with some gravel. The proposed works will allow cattle transport and station owners to have further access to the road during the wet season. As well as improving access and safer travel between the townships of Julia Creek and McKinlay. This will also reduce the maintenance costs for Council.

Gravel sheeting followed by two coat bitumen seal, 2109m x 6m.

Total cost of proposed project is $237,213
