Project description

The existing surface in this section of the street is in reasonable condition displaying minor to moderate cracking in isolated areas. The large section identified for digout displays more severe deterioration including cracking and deformation. The adjacent table drains are not functioning correctly, therefore will require regrading.

Undertake digout area of failed pavement (214m2) from chainage 54.00 to 96.00. Then undertake full width overlay of entire area. Ensure that when overlay is completed that the gravel shoulder is rebuilt to supply support to the new raised asphalt surface. The adjacent table drain will also require reshaping to achieve positive grade back into the field inlet. On completion of all works ensure that all fire hydrant markers and line marking is reinstated.
