Project description

• A 520m section of Groombridges Rd has an average gradient of 20%. Due to the steep gradient the existing gravel surface is slippery and presents a safety hazard to motorists – there have been accidents due to vehicles losing traction. • The steep gravel section of road also scours and develops corrugations that require frequent ongoing maintenance.

A 5.5m wide sealing of a 730m section of Groombridges Rd with a 7/14 two-coat seal.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,110,000
