Project description

This project includes the upgrade of the Sydney motorway network from the ANZAC Bridge in Rozelle to the Bradfield
Highway, Milsons Point.

The Smart Motorway project will use complementary technologies to monitor traffic conditions, manage congestion and respond to incidents in real time.
It will provide motorists with real-time information about travel times, while bringing together intelligent technologies to ease congestion and provide a safer, smoother and more reliable journey.

Funding

The Australian Government has increased its funding commitment from $60 million to $80 million towards this project.

Timetable
