Project description

This project upgraded two intersections on the Western Port Highway in outer south-east Melbourne. The project upgraded the roundabouts at the intersections of Ballarto Road and Cranbourne-Frankston Road with traffic lights to improve safety and manage traffic flow on and off the highway.

Funding

The Australian and Victorian Governments have both committed $57.5 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in January 2022 and was completed in December 2022.
