Project description

The Camels Hump Road is an unsealed category 3A commodity road carrying high volumes of freight from the surrounding primary production area. Typical freight transported includes grain, hay, and livestock. Volumes of freight typically exceed 25,000 tons per annum. Vehicle combinations include 26m B Double and 36.5m A Double Road trains. The existing road surface has reached end of life and requires renewal.

Resurfacing of the existing roadway with quarry material sourced locally from Council rubble quarries.
