Project description

Renewal of pavement and seal that that is subject to significant freight movements and has reached the end of its useful life. In addition intersection site distances will be improved at the junction of Flagstaff Road and Pfeiffer Road, protected left and right turn lanes will be provided at the entrance ways to Ingham's Feed Mill and Big River Pork, and improvements will be made to vertical alignment in order to accommodate higher productivity vehicles.

Complete reconstruction and upgrade of existing pavement to provide a10.0m wide formation with a 9.0m wide seal and a minimum 7.0m wide carriage way. Provide improved intersection site distance at all junctions and upgraded vertical alignment to improved safety and serviceability for Higher Productivity Vehicles and employees.

Total cost of proposed project is $2,400,000
