Project description

Works will address significant road pavement deterioration which has occurred at sections along this road causing extensive cracking and deformation in the road surface. As a result, the road surface is rough and has reduced safety for road users and is an ongoing maintenance concern.

Road pavement rehabilitation works are proposed to strengthen the road to cater for high traffic demands (particularly at the Bayside Shopping Centre carpark and near the Beach Street Intersection). Following pavement strengthening, a new asphalt surface will be laid to ensure a smooth driving surface for all road users.

Total cost of proposed project is $440,000
