Project description

The north bound lane and associated footpath of Main Road requires significant rehabilitation and reconstruction due to subsidence. This is the only route to the Wellington Point Recreation Reserve and experiences high levels of vehicular and foot traffic. The current condition of the footpath and road presents a safety risk to pedestrians and motorists.

Works will include the removal and replacement of the existing footpath, retaining wall, north bound lane and kerb and channel. Works will also include the realignment of the current water main.

Total cost of proposed project is $495,698
