Project description

The Flagstaff Hill Cultural Centre has finally been awarded for construction following damage and demolition after Tropical Cyclone Debbie. The existing road to the proposed centre requires widening to allow the safe passing of two heavy vehicles. The inside slope requires cutting of fractured rock to widen the pavement and include suitable drainage and batter slopes

Widening the inside curve to allow safer access to multiple heavy vehicles. Improving drainage and stability of the rock face on the inside slope. Sealing of the pavement wideing and linemarking of the road.

Total cost of proposed project is $180,697
