Project description

Failing road surface and pavement requires rehabilitation.

The surface assets associated with Howick Street between Wellington Street and High Street requires rehabilitation. The scope of works also includes the renewal of the surface between the Charles Street and Howick Street intersection and the end of existing seal south of the pedestrian crossing. The roundabout also requires renewal. A large dig out of the pavement is required on the northern side of Howick Street, with the addition of 30x1.5m + 50m+ of subsoil drains to prevent water water intrusion and line marking.

Total cost of proposed project is $796,000
