Project description

The existing road has not been re-sheeted in recent memory. Granite rock is now exposed, creating safety concerns. The road crosses multiple streams, and in high rainfall events washes out the road due to an incorrect road profile and inadequate drainage.

Resheet Road from Straight Line kilometres 5.80-8.37 to maintain quality of road asset and reform road to correct profile. Existing drainage culverts to be remediated and new culverts installed where required to prevent water pooling on road in high rainfall events.
