Project description

Road formation and carriageway surface is worn, degraded and losing shape. This gravel sheeting on this segment of road is in poor condition due to the significant volume of traffic using the Tanami Road to access various pastoral stations, tourist attractions and Indigenous communities. As a result of the worn gravel material, the surface often breaks up and becomes rough.

Reform road formation including roadside drainage, resheet unsealed road formation, renew existing floodways and associated drainage structures.
