Project description

Currently the road is an 8m wide pavement with a 3.5m wide seal section. It is too narrow to accommodate the heavy traffic and agricultural machinery. This road is mainly used to cart grain to the main storage bin located in the town site of Tammin. This section is very unsafe for the traffic travelling in both directions. This will also improve the school bus route.

Widening of the existing shoulders to a new pavement width of 10m by importing new gravel. Reform the existing open drainage system to ensure unrestricted flow to the floodway located 300m south of the proposed works. Remove existing ageing seal and install new 2 coat seal
