Project description

Currently the pavement width is approximately 7m wide with a sealed lane of 4m width in the centre. The road is too narrow and the seal is deteriorating beyond its useful life. A section of the road is on a crest and requires some widening work. The narrowness of the road results in vehicular conflict when passing

It is proposed to widen the current pavement width to 10m, stabilising the pavement to a depth of 175mm and seal the new pavement with a 2 coat seal. Extend one culvert to accommodate the new seal width, reinstate road furniture and signs.
