Project description

Gravel road needs to be upgraded due to large volumes of tourist traffic and agricultural needs. Formation of the road is to narrow for the large amount of Type 2 road trains and tourism traffic (including caravans) to share the road safely. Drainage structures are inadequate and during rain events road is always closed

Formation of existing gravel road to 8metres wide, upgrade existing drainage structures and a bitumen seal (job will be done over two (2) financial years)

Total cost of proposed project is $6,747,107
