Project description

A large amount of rear end crashes (16 in 5 years) occur on Kimberley Street (northbound) turning right (east) on to Lake Monger Drive. This is due to the volume of vehicles and length of right turn pocket.

Lengthen the right turn pocket 20 linear metres by widening Kimberley Street an additional 3 metres between Lake Monger Drive and Vincent Street West. Widening to be constructed with pavement and asphalt seal.

Total cost of proposed project is $181,668
