Project description

With population growth and expansion of the Gold Coast's light rail network to the northern end of the city demand is increasing for shared active transport routes in the Parkwood area. There is currently an insufficient cycle and pedestrian link along Greenacre Drive. This project aims to provide a new shared cycle and pedestrian link for active transport users to connect to the public transport network, for recreational use and to improve road safety.

Construction of a new shared pathway on Greenacre Drive between Uplands Drive and a distance of 1.34km along Greenacre Drive to support walking and cycling to the Gold Coast Light Rail Parkwood station, key services and destinations safety and recreation use. The length of the project is approximately 1,340m long and 2.0m wide.
