Project description

The project involves the completion of design for: the road widening of the section of Governor Macquarie Drive between Munday Street and the ATC Access Road from a single lane in each direction to two lanes in each direction; the provision of a channelised right turn treatment at the Governor Macquarie Drive and Shore Street intersection; and completion of a shared path along the northern side of the road.

Benefits

Once delivered, the road upgrade will improve traffic flow and efficiency, reduce congestion, road safety and access. 

Funding

The Australian Government provided $1,663,538 towards the project.
