Project description

There is a traffic safety issue at this intersection, particularly on the Western leg (Haddrill Road) due to road users not slowing down on the approach to Campersic Road. The City has ongoing reports of vehicle crashes at this location as a result of this. A treatment is required to reduce the instances of crashes.

The proposed scope is as follows: 1. Construction of a blister island and installation of street lighting on the western approach to the intersection (i.e. Haddrill Road). 2. Extension of the existing physical central medians on the east and west legs of the intersection to prevent vehicles from cutting the corners at speed when turning onto Campersic Road.
