Project description

This project will deliver new passing and dual lanes, new overtaking lanes on the Gavial-Gracemere link, and a range of other improvements on the Bruce Highway, on the section between Gladstone and Rockhampton.

Benefits

The Project will improve road safety for all road users, reduce congestion, improved efficiency and network reliability.

Funding

The total Project cost is $250 million, with the Australian Government committing $200 million and the Queensland Government committing $50 million.

Timetable

The delivery schedule will be determined in consultation with the Queensland Government.
