Project description

Approximately 450m long bluestone kerb & channel and 1600sqm of roads are dilapidated condition. The roads have deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Vehicle crossovers damaged as well as some scraping of road pavement. There are number of steel plates placed over existing crossovers, causing drainage problems. There is inadequate underground drainage system in Ercildoune Street to drain the stormwater discharge from properties and road surface runoff to underground pits and pipes.

The work involves installing new kerb and channels, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt surfacing.

Total cost of proposed project is $512,000
