Project description

The lane has been poorly designed with poor drainage and has suffered significant deformation over the years. It is heavily used by delivery trucks to bring supplies to the retail establishments on the north side of Oxley Street. The poor condition of the lane has led to ongoing complaints from residents, retailers and suppliers.

Supply additional gravel and mix in with the existing pavement material and compact it to provide a stronger pavement. Reconstructed pavement will be to new levels to provide adequate drainage. Provide temporary 7mm primerseal of bitumen emulsion type with a later 10mm Final Seal incorporating hot bitumen.
