Full width pavement reconstruction from intersection of Bayshore Drive from Grevillea Street to Centennial Circuit Loop North. Reconstruction of kerb and gutters in poor condition and improve drainage where needed.

Reconstruction of kerb and gutters in poor condition and improve drainage where needed. Jointly funded by Roads to Recovery $500,000, NSW Department of Regional NSW $1,926,200 and Council $500,000.

The Gardens Road (Alice Springs Rural Road) - 059887-15NT-RTR

The Gardens Road services the pastoral, tourism, mining and indigenous community industries. The nearby Alice Springs to Darwin road rail crossing is currently being upgraded to 2 lane 7m wide seal, finishing at the existing narrow non-standard, single lane grid. The upgrade of the grid and drainage is a safety issue.It is proposed to raise the grid to allow drainage to occur, widen the grid to standard 9.6 metre width, raise the road approaches and build fence on both sides of the grid for traffic safety.
