Project description

Existing bitumen sealed urban road is badly deteriorated, showing signs of pavement distress, rutting and shoving. There is a considerable drainage issue which is exacerbating the pavement condition and creating safety concerns for motorists.

Installation of new storm water network with new kerb and dish drains. Rehabilitation of existing pavement surface and resurfacing with asphalt concrete course to provide pavement longevity. Council will co-contribute $400,000 from General funds under capital works programme.

Total cost of proposed project is $800,000
