Project description

Due to poor sub-grade and inconsistent pavement thickness the existing road is failing and significant rutting is evident.

Remove the existing pavement, stabilise the existing sub-grade with foam stabilised bitumen then replace the gravel pavement with additional, imported material if required then place an asphalt wearing course and line marking as required. The Shire of Manjimup is contributing $50,000 to this project and is allocating $300,000 of it's Regional Road Group funding to this project.

Total cost of proposed project is $931,568
