Project description

The condition survey undertaken in 2020 rated the structural condition as 4.2 (with 5 being the worst). Tree roots from the large trees have grown into the road pavement causing significant uplift. Treatment is required to address the tree root issue and remove the uneven surface.

Straight Line Kilometre (SLK) 0.04-0.17 measured from Leslie Road: Profile off 70 mm asphalt wearing, apply two coat emulsion primer seal, lay two layers (40 mm+30 mm) new Asphalt wearing to address tree root issue. Straight Line Kilometre (SLK) 0.17-0.35 measured from Leslie Road: Profile off 30 mm asphalt wearing, apply two coat emulsion primer seal, lay 40 mm new Asphalt wearing.
