Project description

Impacted from a lack of adequate drainage which is resulting in water sitting on the roads surface, creating a drop off from seal to the shoulders and softening of the road shoulders.

The work will be to install large soak wells and a sand trap (gully), as well as to widen road to allow for the installation of kerbing within affected area of Styles Road, Preston Beach WA from 0.19 to 0.33 straight line kilometres. The works will also include a small portion of seal to be able to widen and repair the broken road pavement. Funded by RTR and Main Roads WA direct funding.
