Project description

The Seal and the pavement at the intersection has deteriorated, and the alignment of both the roundabout and intersection is not suitable for the larger vehicles, such as buses, that the road currently accommodates. Additionally, the kerb and channel at the intersection have been damaged due to frequent overruns by heavy vehicles.

The proposed scope of work includes full-depth pavement rehabilitation, removal of the existing roundabout at the intersection, construction of a new raised intersection, replacement of kerb and channel and laying a new road seal. Improve the lighting to improve the safety at the intersection by providing additional street lighting.
