Project description

Road and Traffic Management device renewal from Frankston Flinders Road to Valley Road. Significant road pavement deterioration and traffic management device failures are evident along this section of the road, creating unsafe driving for road users and an ongoing maintenance issue. The works will improve road safety, capacity, and smooth driving for all types of vehicles, including heavy vehicles and buses.

Jointly funded Project - Roads to Recovery funds and Council Funds 1. Rehabilitation of Heatherhill Road from Frankston Flinders Road to Valley Road, with required sections deep patching and resealing. 2. Required Intersection Improvement works are proposed to strengthen the following traffic devices (a) Roundabout at Heatherhill Rd/Kalmia St, (b) Roundabout at Heatherhill Rd/Brooklyn Ave (c) Roundabout at Heatherhill Rd/Lardner Rd
