Project description

The road has developed potholes and cracks due to increase traffic over period of time that may be safety hazards to road users and requires rectification on priority. The current 3.1 metre lane widths are also less than standard lane width of 3.5 metres, thereby necessitating adjustment to accommodate increased traffic.

Stabilisation of pavement structure, Increasing the width to 3.5 metres each side, Drainage improvements with replacement/widening of culverts at various locations. Council funding the balance cost savings in removal of guard rail and increase of road width by batters.

Total cost of proposed project is $4,890,000
