Project description

St Clair Avenue is a minor collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa 1975. The road has experienced numerous failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and patches and has been repaired via heavy patching. Due to the age of the road and the increasing traffic volume it is suggested that the existing base materials need to be replaced to the trafficable lane with full depth asphalt.

It is proposed to replace the base material with the asphalt and provide a 50 mm asphalt wearing surface.
