Project description

Jamison Road is a Collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa 1975. The road has experienced numerous failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and failed patches and has been repaired via heavy patching. Due to the age of the road and the increasing traffic volume it is suggested that the existing base materials need to be replaced with full depth asphalt to the trafficable lane at selected sections of westbound lane.

It is proposed to replace the base material to the trafficable lane where needed with the asphalt and provide a 50 mm asphalt wearing surface.
