Project description

This section of roadway presents road safety and congestion issues during conflicting vehicle movements through this area at peak times. There are also several conflict points between pedestrians and vehicles that should be improved.

It is proposed to install modified intersection arrangements that will reduce the conflicting vehicle movements. New infrastructure shall also be installed to improve flow of pedestrian movements and address safety concerns. Existing pavement issues shall be addressed where appropriate during the works. Lighting upgrades shall also be undertaken to improve public and road safety.
