Project description

Noondoo-Thallon Road is one of Council’s most heavily utilised routes, providing a key connection between St George, Dirranbandi, and Thallon. As a sealed road with high traffic volumes, it experiences accelerated deterioration, resulting in significant ongoing maintenance costs for Council’s operating budget. The road currently has pavement failures requiring rehabilitation, as well as floodway upgrades and additional bitumen sealing. Completing these upgrades will significantly improve safety by reducing deterioration, providing a safer and more reliable network for all road users. Additionally, reducing the maintenance burden on this section will allow Council to redirect resources toward improving other roads within the network.

Pavement Rehabilitation and Upgrade Floodways . This project is jointly funded by Dept of Transport & Main Roads TIDS funding.

Total cost of proposed project is $640,000
