Project description

Rehabilitation of the road pavement surface to meet asset management requirements. Proactive planning and treatment implementation before pavement failure provides a sustainable and cost-effective approach to road maintenance, with the objectives of maintaining a smooth and trafficable surface and preserving the waterproofing layer.

Mill and resurface the existing asphalt roadway, replace the existing kerb, and tie in with crossovers. Formalise parking bays with kerb extensions and undertake drainage improvements. Budget shortfall will be funded by council's own budget.

Total cost of proposed project is $562,428
