Project description

Derby Street is a Major Collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa 1980. The road has experienced with localised numerof failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and failed patches of entire carraigeway due to the incresed traffic which resulted the significance development along Derby Street.

It is proposed to replace the subgrade material with the quality selected fill and provide a AC20 deeplift asphalt base with 50mm AC14 asphalt wearing surface. Below is a list of the works proposed to 400m length of road by 12m wide: 250mm selected fill 130mm AC20 base 50mm AC14 wearing surface
