Project description

Peppertree Drive is a collector road which, according to Council records, was constructed circa 1977. The road has experienced numerous failures with rutting, crocodile cracking and failed patches and has been repaired via heavy patching. Due to the age of the road and the increasing traffic volume it is suggested that the existing base materials need to be replaced with fill materials with foamed stabilised base.

it is proposed to replace the base material to the trafficable lane with the selected fill materials and form stabilise the base material and provide a 50mm asphalt wearing surface to 600m length of road by 12.1m wide: Below is a list of the works proposed 50mm AC14 wearing surface 200mm foamed stabilised base 250mm selected fill
