Project description

The above-mentioned sections of South Road were previously sealed using cold emulsion treatment, with some stretches having been widened using emulsion adjacent to existing bitumen. Over time, cracks had developed, potholes were forming, and in certain areas the surface had stripped away. While these defects have been addressed through recent patching and crack sealing works, the pavement remains vulnerable and requires a more durable treatment.

To improve the pavement condition and extend its service life, we propose to reseal these sections with a single-coat hot bitumen seal using 10 mm sealing aggregate, providing a stable and long-lasting surface.
