Project description

There is currently spasmodic Kerb & Gutter along Croudace St and this project will complete the K&G along the entire street on both sides. The project all also address drainage issues, with stormwater infrastructure being installed at each relevant street intersection. Street widening will also occur in areas in ensure parallel edges of Croudace Street.

Project will tie into existing Kerb and Gutter, installing absent K&G, along Croudace St Walcha. Street will be widened as needed to ensure consistent width. Project also includes Stormwater Infrastructure on intersecting streets.

The Gardens Road (Alice Springs Rural Road) - 059887-15NT-RTR

The Gardens Road services the pastoral, tourism, mining and indigenous community industries. The nearby Alice Springs to Darwin road rail crossing is currently being upgraded to 2 lane 7m wide seal, finishing at the existing narrow non-standard, single lane grid. The upgrade of the grid and drainage is a safety issue.It is proposed to raise the grid to allow drainage to occur, widen the grid to standard 9.6 metre width, raise the road approaches and build fence on both sides of the grid for traffic safety.
