Project description

A targeted section of the roadway, measuring approximately 306 m², is exhibiting structural and surface distress. This area presents with cracking and visible wear, suggesting pavement fatigue and potential subgrade instability. These defects compromise the structural integrity and pose a risk to safe and reliable road use. The remainder of the road, while not structurally compromised, is showing signs of surface wear and cracking within the seal layer.

1. Localised Pavement Repair (306 m²): Excavate and patch the failed section to restore structural integrity. This will involve removal of the distressed pavement, assessment of the underlying layers, and reinstatement with appropriate materials. 2. Surface Resealing (Full Extent): Following patching, the entire affected road section will be resealed. This will prevent moisture ingress, improve surface texture and skid resistance, and extend the pavement’s service life. The reseal will also help mitigate further cracking and wear across the broader road surface.
