Project description

Butterfactory Lane is showing signs of surface oxidation, cracking, and aggregate loss, along with flushing and localised deformation, indicating that the pavement has deteriorated both functionally and structurally—compromising safety, waterproofing, and ride quality, and necessitating a reseal to prevent further damage and extend the asset’s life.

Proposed corrective actions for Street Y include sealing cracks, patching potholes, repairing edge breaks, and cleaning the surface to prepare for a spray seal treatment that will restore waterproofing and skid resistance. The works will also address drainage deficiencies to improve water runoff and rectify existing pavement defects such as flushing, deformation, and aggregate loss—ensuring long-term asset performance and safety.
