Project description

The project involved routine maintenance grading of the existing unsealed road to restore its surface profile and serviceability. The works included reshaping the road formation to reinstate the correct camber and crossfall, removing surface irregularities such as corrugations and ruts, and ensuring effective drainage along the carriageway. Maintenance grading was undertaken to address deterioration caused by traffic loading, weather conditions, and natural wear. These works have improved ride quality, vehicle safety, and water runoff, thereby reducing the likelihood of further surface damage. Following completion of the grading works, the road provides improved accessibility for road users and supports ongoing asset preservation through timely and cost-effective maintenance.
