Project description

Hein Road has a history of crashes and identified safety risks along the corridor, particularly at several curves and intersections. Investigations found that limited sight distance, road geometry and roadside hazards contribute to crash risk in these locations. The project will improve safety by delivering targeted upgrades, including improvements at hazardous curves, enhanced line marking and signage, sealed shoulders, roadside safety treatments and the installation of lighting at key intersections, helping to reduce crash risk and improve safety for all road users.
