Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Landor-Meekatharra Road - 055957-15WA-RTR
Sections totalling 10km have a shallow uneven bedrock base resulting in previous sheeting being eroded by flood water and traffic.The surface is very rough and uneven for stock and tourist traffic and for a local indigenous community.Reform,sheet with suitable local material to 150mm and water bind and construct a water catchment drain along northern side of the road reserve to prevent future flood water damage.
Appins Street West, Nanango (Urban Street) - 055958-15QLD-RTR
This road forms part of the Heavy By-pass Road for the township of Nanango. The current shoulder on this section of the road is a grassed area and is not safe to pull over or park. This road is a school bus route.Construct shoulder to a bitumen seal for assist with parking of commercial vehicles.
Clark & Swendsons Road, Kingaroy (Urban Road) - 055959-15QLD-RTR
Watercourse at northern crossing of Clark & Swendsons Road has minimal capacity of the existing cross drainage (2 x 375mm Dia Reinforced Concrete Pipe) structures. Road widening to accommodate commercial vehicle movements to commerical facility. High volumn traffic volumn for narrow road.Construct concrete floodway to assist with the resilience of the road and to be more hydraulically efficent. Installing 1200 twin Reinforced Concrete Pipes and concrete existing 20m road over the new drainage crossing. Upgrade the sealed section to a 7m wide bitumen seal road on a 8m formation with 2 coat seal.
Ellesmere North Road, Haly Creek (Rural Road) - 055960-15QLD-RTR
Current intersection angles do not comply with standards. Poor observation angles for approaching traffic from each leg of intersection. Low level of service for a school bus routeRealign intersection. Geometric improvement to existing intersection.
Johnson Street, Hivesville (Urban Street) - 055961-15QLD-RTR
This section of road is narrow. Dust complaints, high cost to regulary maintenance as a consequence of its location in Hivesville. Extension of constructed and sealed network to serve the residents.Upgrade the unsealed section to a 4m wide bitumen seal road on a 6m formation with 2 coat seal.
Hazeldean Road, South Nanango (Rural Road) - 055962-15QLD-RTR
This section of road has an exisitng 4 to 5.5m wide seal straight road for the amount of traffic that it caters. High cost to regular maintenance as a consequence of its location to Nanango, low level of service for a school bus route. Restircted visibility on both crest and in sufficent width for vehicles to pass safely.Construction of shoulder and sealing to assist with vehicles passing in opposite directions. Upgrade the sealed section to a 7m wide bitumen seal road on a 8m formation with 2 coat seal.
Rodney Street, Proston (Urban Street) - 055964-15QLD-RTR
Unsealed shoulder scouring and making it difficult to acess existing driveways and parking. No suitable pull-off area for vehicles and school bus.Excavate existing shoulder and install crossfall with a 2 coat 3m wide bitumen seal.
Tingoora Chelmsford Road, Tingoora (Rural Road) - 055965-15QLD-RTR
The existing curve is a 70m radiusis sharp curve in a 80km zone. High volumn traffic and low service for school bus routeConstruct 6.5m wide bitumen seal with a 8m formation and 2 coat seal, curve realigment on both approaches.
Weens Road, Kingaroy (Rural Road) - 055966-15QLD-RTR
This section of road is single lane for the amount of traffic that it caters. Existing pavement is rutting, exposed gravel , surface defects, potholes and patchingUpgrade the sealed section to a 6.5m wide bitumen seal road on a 8m formation with 2 coat seal.
Reedy Creek Road, Benair (Rural Road) - 055967-15QLD-RTR
Deteriorating of existing seal. Seal exhibits signs of some or all of - block cracking, polished stone and or lack of bitumen holding the aggregateReseal Reedy Creek Road. Supply, cart, heat and spray bitumen and Additive - C170. Supply, cart and spread aggregate, 10mm pre-coated.
