Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Hastings Road, Terrigal - 065011-16NSW-RTR
The road is narrow with a crest within this section. There is no formal footway & parking is hap-hazard. Residents have reported numerous accident near misses. The road is dangerous in its current condition and alignment.Reconstruct the road over a length of 590 meters at an average width of 9.0 metres. Construct stormwater drainage, footpath on south side and kerb and gutter on both sides. Numerous driveway level adjustments required. Construct retaining wall as required on south side.Total cost of proposed project is $901,626
Old Gosford Road, Wamberal - 065012-16NSW-RTR
Old Gosford Road is increasingly used as a shortcut between two main roads. This section is narrow with no formal footway or parking arrangements and little control of stormwater. Speeding is an ongoing safety issue.Reconstruct the road over a length of 560 metres and widen pavement to an average width 8.0 metres. Provide stormwater drainage, kerb and gutter both sides, footpath both sides. Services relocations to suit new levels. Provide a raised threshold at the intersection with Leonard Avenue to slow traffic.
Gunns Plains Road - 065013-16TAS-RTR
Several sections of pavement and seal failure.Reconstruct and seal the areas of pavement failure including embankment stabilisation. Total length to be repaired 80m. Seal width 5m.Total cost of proposed project is $115,000
Harveys Road (Rural Road) - 065014-16TAS-RTR
Embankment and pavement failureEmbankment stabilisation and reconstruct and seal failed pavement sections. Length of failed section 50m.Total cost of proposed project is $80,000
Dundas Lane, Narrandera - 065015-16NSW-RTR

Fourth Street, (In Tickera township) - 065019-16SA-RTR
The road has very little rubble and is slippery when wet, has no kerbing for stormwater management, and has no formal footpath.Install kerbing to formalise the road, form a road from crushed limestone rubble, bituminise the road and rubble the footpath area to provide safe walking access.Total cost of proposed project is $61,597
