Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Melville Street, Yorketown - 048273-12SA-RTR
The road is currently unsealed & not kerbed. Lack of stormwater control is causing potholes and corrugation to the road in winter, and consequent maintenance expense for the Council.Application of a 14/7 mm 2 coat seal for the entire length of the road – 300m x 8m wide - plus construction of kerb & footpath, which will reduce maintenance issues significantly and provide for increased vehicle and foot traffic in the area.Total cost of proposed project is $137,334
Clinton Road (Rural Road) - 048274-12SA-RTR
The road is currently unsealed and subject to a large volume of local and tourist traffic, including heavy vehicle movement as it provides access to a number of primary producer's properties. This traffic is causing potholes and corrugations in the road surface, and requires frequent patrol grading & maintenance to ensure the surface integrity.Converting unsealed gravel road to sealed road to improve amenities for traffic - 10000m x 8m wide - 14/7mm 2 coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $326,096
Main Street, Balgowan - 048275-12SA-RTR
Current road construction not allowing adequate stormwater drainage resulting in seal breaking down. Unsealed onroad parking corrugated and pitted at seal edge and stormwater pooling is common.reseal of road length from the corner of Fifth Street to the the corner of Balgowan Road, including construction of footpath and kerbing and sealing of onroad parking areaTotal cost of proposed project is $119,260
Daly Head Road (Rural Road) - 048276-12SA-RTR
Very poor natural surface road, narrow and with poor sight distance, stormwater pooling in low lying areas. The road is a regular tourist/recreational route including travel by farming enterprises and requires regular maintenance.Widen and improve vertical geometry to improve sight distance and avoid stormwater pooling, including upgrade to gravel sheeting.Total cost of proposed project is $272,663
East Nannup Road (Rural Road) - 048278-12WA-RTR
East Nannup Road is a school bus route and timber haulage route servicing sevral tourist operators. It is currently a 5-6metre gravel formation with a clay base in a forest area. The road is to narrow and becomes very slippery in the wet and dampFinal seal of last years work.
Gold Gully Road - 048279-12WA-RTR
Gold Gully Road is both a school bus and timber route with a 6m gravel formation that is very slippery when wet.To construct and primer seal to 6 metres for 1kilometre
