Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

In wet weather this section of the road becomes wet making it impassable and dangerous for motorists.Construct a new floodway 60m x 6m.

Back Yanco Road (Rural Road) - 048656-12NSW-RTR
Road is in very poor condition, narrow, potholed, pavement failure and poor drainage.Pavement rehabilitation, widening and sealing from start point for a distance of 2.1 kilometres, shoulder widening and sealing for remaining 1.3 kilometres. There will also be some drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $465,403
Pooncarie Road (rural road) - 048658-12NSW-RTR
The road at this location has been washed away and resulted in prolonged road closures in times of moderate flooding and high rainfall events.Install new precast reinforced concrete box culverts at 2 locations on Yampoola watercourse 120m apart. Works to include rip rap scour protection, batter stabilisation and new guardrailingTotal cost of proposed project is $436,525
Tilpa to Tongo Road (rural road) - 048664-12NSW-RTR
The village of Tilpa is isolated in times of minor to moderate flooding. Improvements here would see village and airstrip access maintained longer.Install new reinforced concrete box culverts at 3 locations and reconstruct adjacent causewaysTotal cost of proposed project is $400,000
Merungle Road (Rural Road) - 048665-12NSW-RTR
The existing gravel pavement is prone to rutting and ravelling and is impassable during and after wet weather.Propose to rehabilitate the area by adding a nominal 50mm to 100mm of new gravel, mix with existing gravel, compact, seal to a width of 7 metres and linemark. Road is used by heavy combination vehicles and mixed with normal traffic.
Pacific Highway – Woolgoolga to Ballina – Planning and Preconstruction
The Woolgoolga to Ballina – Planning and Preconstruction project involved a number of activities that were undertaken to enable the construction of a four-lane divided highway over approximately 155km between Arrawarra, north of Woolgoolga, and the Ballina Bypass. Planning and pre-construction works for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade project included: Survey and geotechnical investigations Property acquisitions Relocation of public utilities Preparing contract documents, invitation and awarding of contract Detailed design for the Woolgoolga to Glenugie section Soft soil treatments to stabilise the ground to allow for future construction Bridgeworks between Pimlico and Teven (Stage 2) Other pre-construction activities associated with the contract to enable substantial construction to commence
Pacific Highway - Nambucca Heads to Urunga
The project constructed approximately 22 kilometres of four lane divided road, built to Class-M (motorway) standard, from south of the North Coast rail overbridge at Nambucca Heads to the existing interchange with Waterfall Way at Raleigh. New grade-separated interchanges have been constructed at Nambucca Heads and at Ballards Road, south of Urunga. The upgrade also includes a new combined heavy and light vehicle rest area near Nambucca Heads and a major crossing of the Kalang River.
Tanners Road, Popanyinning - 048683-12WA-RTR
Ageing narrow structure and substructure that requires replacement to enable vehicles and machinery to cross Calcoran Brook safely ** WA SPECIAL BRIDGE PROGRAM **Replace substructure with three rows of 2.4 metre concrete box culverts and two rows of concrete Link Slabs. Reestablish suitable pavement over lay. Fit new upgraded Guardrails and stone protection to invert and obverts of the structure
Railway Road, Burradoo - 048684-12NSW-RTR
Existing road is narrow with pavement in very poor condition. Road drainage is inadequate resulting in water weakening the road pavement. This section of road has a major secondary school located on it with many school buses using the road daily.Upgrade the drainage under the road, instal sub soil drainage in critical locations, construct 200mm granular pavement overlay and bitumen seal the road.
